Last updated: 10 October 2026
This privacy notice explains how Wrenfield Property Developments Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and looks after personal data. It is written for people who contact us, visit our website, or deal with us in the course of our property business.

What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may process:
- Enquiry and message details — for example your name, contact details (such as your email address or phone number), any property you are interested in, and the content of emails, WhatsApp messages or other messages you send us.
- Business relationship details — information from buyers, sellers, estate agents, contractors and suppliers that we need to run our business (for example names, contact details, addresses, and details of properties, works or transactions).
- Enquiry form details — if you use the enquiry form on our website: your name, email address, phone number (optional), what you are interested in (selling, buying or other) and your message.
- Technical data when you visit our website — your IP address and related request information are processed by our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare. When our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, Google may also process your IP address.
Our enquiry form
When you send the enquiry form, your details are passed to us by email using Cloudflare’s email service and delivered to our Microsoft 365 mailbox, where we read and reply to them. The website itself does not keep a copy of your enquiry. We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads to business, to deal with you about it.
To protect the form from spam, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that runs in your browser and may process your IP address and basic browser and device information. Turnstile is designed not to use cookies for advertising or tracking.
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months. If an enquiry leads to business, the longer retention periods in “How long we keep data” below apply.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or embed third-party advertising trackers in our pages. Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured for our domain in our Cloudflare account; Cloudflare’s Web Analytics product is designed not to use cookies for advertising and does not fingerprint visitors for ad targeting. We do not place analytics scripts in the site’s own HTML.
Why we use personal data and our lawful bases
We use personal data for the following purposes, and rely on the lawful bases set out below:
- Answering enquiries and running our day-to-day business — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to respond to people who contact us and to operate a property development business.
- Taking steps to enter into a contract, or performing a contract — for example buying or selling a property, or working with contractors and suppliers (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Meeting legal obligations — for example anti-money-laundering checks and keeping tax and company records (Article 6(1)(c)).
Who we share data with
We share personal data only where it is needed for the purposes above. That may include:
- solicitors and conveyancers;
- estate agents;
- mortgage and finance providers, where relevant to a transaction;
- accountants;
- IT and email providers (Microsoft 365 for email; Cloudflare for website hosting and security); and
- regulators or other authorities where the law requires us to do so.
If you contact us using the WhatsApp link on our website, your message and phone number are handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. Phone calls to our office number are handled in the normal way, like any other enquiry.
We never sell personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers (including Microsoft, Cloudflare and Google) may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on UK adequacy regulations where they apply.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for up to 2 years.
- Transaction and financial records are kept for 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year (for tax purposes).
- Anti-money-laundering records are kept for 5 years after the end of the business relationship.
We may keep information for longer where we need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or where the law requires it.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access to our email and business systems is limited to people who need it for their work. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare’s network with HTTPS.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right, in certain circumstances, to:
- access your personal data;
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- ask for data to be erased;
- ask us to restrict processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you provided to us in a portable form (data portability); and
- withdraw consent, where we rely on consent (we do not currently rely on consent for the processing described in this notice).
To exercise any of these rights, email info@wrenfieldproperty.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113.
